Who is responsible?

BHC CONSULTING SRL, company number 0800.539.911, with its registered office at Rue Copernic 6, box 1, 1180 Uccle, Belgium, is your contact for processing relating to its website and your enquiries. Email: brochard.benoit@live.be.

Enquiries and correspondence

The Wix form requests your name, email address and project description. These fields are required to send the form. Without them, we cannot receive an enquiry through this channel; you may also contact us by telephone or email. Avoid including sensitive data or unnecessary personal information about other people.

The information is used to answer your enquiry and prepare the support you requested. When a person requests a quotation for themselves, necessary processing is based on steps taken before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Other professional correspondence, including with representatives of an establishment, relies on the legitimate interest in answering enquiries and managing the professional relationship (Article 6(1)(f)).

Browsing and preferences

Servers and security services may process technical information such as IP address, date, requested page and browser characteristics to deliver pages and prevent abuse. This supports the legitimate interest in maintaining an available and secure website.

The website code contains no Google Analytics, advertising pixel or embedded YouTube player. Photos, videos and fonts are loaded from this website. Your animation choice is stored for the tab session. See our cookie information for details.

Photographs and testimonials

The website presents photographs, videos, names and testimonials related to professional activities. Identifiable images and testimonials are published with the agreement of the people concerned. You may withdraw your agreement for future use or request a correction by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier publication based on that agreement. Photographers’ and other authors’ rights remain separate.

Recipients and service providers

Enquiries are intended for BHC Consulting and people authorised to handle them. Wix acts as a processor for the form and responses. Microsoft provides email. OpenAI/Sites and Cloudflare deliver and secure the website. These services involve their own technical providers.

Form protection

The Wix form uses the “Advanced and reCAPTCHA” setting to filter bots and abuse. This may involve Google reCAPTCHA and technical information about your connection and browser. This protection supports a legitimate security interest; it does not automatically decide your access to our services. Contact us directly by email or telephone if the form blocks your enquiry.

International transfers and safeguards

Wix: its data processing agreement provides for an initial transfer to Israel under an adequacy decision, followed by safeguards for onward transfers, including standard contractual clauses. Wix publishes its subprocessor list.

Microsoft describes processing in the United States and other countries, using safeguards including standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers. See its privacy statement.

OpenAI’s European privacy policy describes processing outside the EEA, including in the United States, under adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. This general framework does not specify every contractual parameter for Sites hosting; these still need confirmation.

Cloudflare describes possible processing in the United States, relying on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses depending on the transfer. Its privacy policy explains these mechanisms. No exclusively European localisation option has been verified for this website.

Retention

The retention rule for enquiries that do not result in an assignment is 12 months after the last meaningful exchange. A monthly manual review identifies enquiries due for deletion in Wix and email; deletion is not automated. Records needed for an assignment, a legal obligation or the establishment or defence of a right are kept separately for as long as that purpose justifies. Trash and backup retention periods are separate: Wix states that submissions moved to Trash may remain there for up to 180 days; other technical periods still need confirmation.

The animation preference lasts for the tab session. The identified Cloudflare security cookie expires after 30 minutes of inactivity according to its provider. The exact retention period for hosting logs still needs to be confirmed.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it for the future.

Send your request to brochard.benoit@live.be or the registered office. A reply must be provided within one month, subject to the extensions allowed by the GDPR. Proportionate identity verification may be needed where reasonable doubts arise. You may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Links to Wix, YouTube, social media or press articles lead to separate services. They are not loaded as embedded players or forms in our pages. Their own privacy information and choices apply when you visit them.
